The European Parliament prepares for its digital future
This unique, long-term framework contract aims to secure and transform the European Parliament's core ICT infrastructure and hosting services.
The 4YOU consortium is responsible for providing a comprehensive suite of services:
-
End-to-end operations: seamless management and operation throughout the contract lifecycle.
-
Agility and customisation: provision of ad hoc and complementary services to ensure immediate operational flexibility, manage scope variations and execute specialised projects requiring targeted resources or specific execution modalities.
This contract is primarily a driver of change in the digitalisation of Parliament, requiring a flexible and sustainable operating model and introducing new services to take advantage of technological advances, including the strategic shift to the cloud.
At the heart of European democracy
‘This is a moment of great pride and responsibility for every member of the 4YOU Consortium,’ said Gabriel Thiercelin, Sales Manager for European Institutions at DEEP by POST. "The European Parliament's mission is central to the democratic functioning of the EU, and securing its core IT infrastructure is a task we take very seriously. Our combined expertise and commitment to excellence will ensure a stable, secure and scalable digital environment for the Parliament's operations over the next six years."
The award of this contract highlights the consortium's in-depth understanding of the technological and security requirements specific to an EU institution. By combining their resources and knowledge, the consortium members are ready to provide world-class IT services that meet the high standards of performance and reliability expected at the heart of European governance.
