Infrastructure, cloud, AI: the levers of IT modernization according to Nutanix
30 June 2025

On the occasion of the NEXT2025 event held in Washington, Nutanix unveiled its latest advancements in hyperconvergence, multi-cloud management, and artificial intelligence. A long-standing partner in Luxembourg, DEEP reflects on the opportunities these innovations present to support the digital transformation of organizations.
For several years, we’ve witnessed an acceleration in the digital transformation of our societies. Technological developments are opening new horizons while also generating new needs. For teams responsible for managing IT systems, keeping up with these trends is a significant challenge.
"It is indeed essential to modernize infrastructures to gain agility while reducing operational costs," said Ludovic Gilles, Director at DEEP, as an introduction to an event co-organized with Nutanix. "This has been Nutanix's core mission since its founding ten years ago—providing solutions that simplify infrastructure management, regardless of its nature. The ideas and solutions presented at the Nutanix NEXT2025 event, held in early May in Washington and showcased here today, are a testament to that commitment to supporting organizations in their transformation journey."
A longstanding partnership
DEEP became Nutanix’s first partner in Luxembourg in 2017, just as the solution provider—founded a decade ago—began expanding globally. Convinced by the relevance of the proposed solutions, DEEP, the POST Group entity dedicated to professional digital needs, implemented the first hyperconverged infrastructures in Luxembourg. These solutions allowed clients to streamline their IT resource usage and simplify management.
"DEEP has been supporting our growth for eight years now," commented Fabrizio Heitzmann, Country Manager of Nutanix Luxembourg. "We’ve grown together. Behind this partnership, above all, are people and expertise that have evolved over time, enabling DEEP to become, in May 2025, Luxembourg’s first ‘Premier Partner’—the highest level of partnership we offer. We only have about 40 worldwide."
Simplicity, freedom, cost control
Now more than ever, Nutanix aims to support organizations in facing the many challenges they encounter. During the “NEXT 2025 @Luxembourg” event, which welcomed DEEP clients to its Helix building, Adam Tarbox, General Manager Northern, Eastern Europe & CIS at Nutanix, addressed these key issues.
"Given the increasing complexity of IT environments, organizations are exploring ways to simplify IT management. They also seek greater freedom—especially in light of uncertainty and sovereignty concerns," he explained. "In this context, they must strengthen their automation capabilities and explore cost-reduction opportunities. Ultimately, they must carry out these transformations while improving user satisfaction."
More efficient modernization
To meet these challenges, Nutanix’s promise, supported by the innovations presented, revolves around three main objectives: helping modernize infrastructures, facilitating application deployment regardless of the underlying environment, and supporting the rollout of AI agents.
Nutanix has established itself in the market with its software-defined platform, allowing more efficient use of resources to meet storage, computing, and network needs—known as hyperconverged infrastructure. Over time, the provider has expanded its offering. Today, users can manage resources both on-premises and in the cloud from a single platform. Nutanix thus helps lay the groundwork for a robust multi-cloud strategy, enabling faster modernization and easier access to development resources. The platform also allows efficient management in disconnected environments, addressing critical security and resilience challenges.
Develop once, run anywhere!
The freedom Nutanix offers its clients relies on its ability to deploy applications in any environment—on-prem or in the cloud.
"That’s the idea behind the Beacon project we’re developing—to allow developers to create applications once and run them anywhere," said Adam Tarbox. "With this vision, we aim to bring together a set of services within a single platform, with a unified API and console that simplifies Kubernetes container orchestration and ensures consistent management across environments."
Facilitating AI agent deployment
To simplify the deployment of AI agents within organizations, Nutanix has also positioned itself as a pioneer with its GPT-in-a-Box solution. Staying true to its expertise, the provider offers a bundled package of preconfigured AI software, backed by its hyperconverged infrastructure approach and including training models and frameworks.
Last May, Nutanix unveiled updates to its enterprise AI solution, featuring deeper integration with the Nvidia AI Enterprise suite. In doing so, Nutanix aims to make it easier to deploy agentic AI applications, regardless of the resources they rely on—thanks in particular to its containerization platform.
