Nicolas VIVARELLI - an innovative Data platform - DEEP

DEEP France (formerly Digora) has been offering and distributing a unique Big Data processing and visualisation solution in France and Morocco since the end of 2022. DEEP's Data Intelligence platform incorporates advanced analysis tools for automated interpretation of data, enabling it to be transformed instantly into usable information.
Initially conceived, designed and developed to meet the POST Luxembourg Group's own data processing needs, the “Data Intelligence” platform is now available to organizations and businesses of all sizes looking for a Big Data solution that guarantees compliance, security and robust processing intelligence.
Interview with Nicolas Vivarelli, Head of Data & AI at DEEP
Since 2025, DEEP has been combining the expertise of Digora, Elgon, EBRC and POST Telecom, consolidating its position as a POST group. Thanks to this synergy, DEEP is now able to address a wide range of ICT needs. Nicolas Vivarelli, head of the DATA & AI section, reveals the benefits of a revolutionary platform dedicated to data processing and analysis: the Data Intelligence platform.
What does the POST Data Intelligence platform offer in concrete terms?
The DEEP Group offers companies and the public sector a ready-to-use Data Science platform. A team of Data Science experts, including several PhDs, from Data Engineer to Data Scientist to Data Architect, provide all their expertise to ensure that projects get off to the best possible start and stay on track. This is an undeniable time-saver for our customers.
How is data collected, protected and secured?
Our Data Lake, housed in our own Data Centers in Luxembourg, takes in all our customers' structured, unstructured and semi-structured data. Over the years, we have developed multiple connectors that are now available to all, enabling data to be collected wherever it is, in batches or in real time.
GDPR compliant, the platform is DPIA (Data Protection Impact Assessment) tested. We are able to operate all the confidentiality cases required.
Security is controlled by an independent trusted third party who carries out penetration tests several times a year, guaranteeing the inviolability of the infrastructure, and whose evolution we ensure by all the technical and organizational means required.
Our solution logically segregates data by IAM profile, but we can also offer physical segregation if required.
What differentiates the Data Intelligence platform from other existing solutions?
Our Data Intelligence platform is the foundation for all the descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analysis needed to add value to organizations' data. In the healthcare sector, for example, Data Scientists use Machine Learning and AI to predict rare diseases, long-term illnesses, orphan diseases, reduce treatment times, large-scale drug interactions...
In-house, we have multiplied the number of use cases linked to the POST Group's wide variety of activities, which we pass on to organizations, who also have access to numerous Open Data sets.
But what sets us apart from our competitors is our customized service offering. We support our customers in setting up their data governance, through the definition and implementation of tools, roles, responsibilities, quality management, data dictionaries, confidentiality and retention rules.
We also offer 3 levels of use, depending on the skills available within the organization: the most mature customers in terms of data science create their own models autonomously from the interfaces provided. Others, a little less experienced, rely on AI tools (automated Machine Learning), while still others, lacking a Data Science team, delegate the analytical activity entirely to us, which they are delighted about.
Any satisfaction?
Yes, several! Recognition of the qualities and performance of our platform by the European SRTI consortium is one of them. We have passed all the validation stages and are now the only ones to process this sensitive data.
Another is the “Best Use of Data and Artificial Intelligence” award we received for our healthcare business.
Finally, for Luxembourg, we are very pleased to contribute to the effective application of European directives in the field of Data Science, and to be one of the spearheads. In the medium term, we plan to pursue our involvement in data within the framework of other strong European regulations.
What are DEEP's plans for its platform in France and Morocco?
In 2025, Digora became an integral part of DEEP, a B2B business unit belonging to the POST group. By integrating the know-how of Digora, a specialist in data and data infrastructures, DEEP's teams have the necessary expertise to offer the service expected by the platform's customers and actively support them.
*Since 2025, DEEP has integrated Digora, Elgon, EBRC and POST Telecom (DEEP).
